Non pas qu&rsquo;ils aient \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement mauvais, nous avons toujours affaire \u00e0 des classiques issus des archives d&rsquo;une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 l\u00e9gendaire. Voire pas du tout : c&rsquo;est particuli\u00e8rement vrai lorsque nous avons affaire \u00e0 des portages arcade comme Virtua Racing, Fantasy Zone et Puzzle &amp; Action : Ichidant-R. Il utilisait la Sega&rsquo;s Y Board, une carte Arcade \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9e pour des jeux comme Power Drift ou Galaxy Force. Cela permettait de r\u00e9aliser de v\u00e9ritables tours de magie, comme la rotation des sprites et leur redimensionnement \u00e0 des cadences tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9es (60 images par seconde ou plus). Bien qu&rsquo;il soit principalement jou\u00e9 \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re personne plut\u00f4t qu&rsquo;\u00e0 la troisi\u00e8me personne, on pourrait penser qu&rsquo;il aurait tout aussi bien pu porter le nom d&rsquo;After Burner. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9 il y a des diff\u00e9rences notables entre les deux, qui font sans doute de G-LOC le jeu le plus riche des deux.<br \/><br \/><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans After Burner, le but principal \u00e9tait la survie ; vous deviez traverser ses 18 \u00e9tapes sans perdre la vie, et bien que le fait d&rsquo;abattre des ennemis rende cela plus facile, ce n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas essentiel. Au risque d&rsquo;\u00eatre un avis controvers\u00e9, After Burner est un jeu o\u00f9 la l\u00e2chet\u00e9 est une strat\u00e9gie l\u00e9gitime. En effet vous pouvez vous frayer un chemin \u00e0 travers chaque \u00e9tape, en \u00e9vitant simplement les ennemis et les missiles.<br \/><br \/><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">G-LOC est diff\u00e9rent car il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;attaque et non de d\u00e9fense. Chacune de ses \u00e9tapes (de nombre variable en fonction de la difficult\u00e9) vous demande de d\u00e9truire un certain nombre d&rsquo;ennemis dans un d\u00e9lai donn\u00e9. Plus vous les tuez rapidement, plus votre temps est prolong\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;\u00e9tape suivante. En ce sens, il est plus proche d&rsquo;un jeu de course comme Out Run ou Super Hang-On que d&rsquo;After Burner.
